Keter to Know His Fate Tomorrow
Four months after Eldoret High court nullified the election of Nandi hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter, he will now know his fate as the court of appeal is expected to give its ruling on the matter after the nullification of his election.
His lawyer Otiende Omollo told the court of appeal judges led by Erastus Githinji that the ruling by the High Court judge George Kimondo to nullify Keter’s election did not follow the law since he used evidence that was not factual.
“The High Court used one ground that Keter campaigned in six places, but we have argued that there was no evidence to that effect,” Said Otiende. Keter’s tribulations began when he refused to resign.
