The Search for the Fly540 plane that went missing on Tuesday is still on going, however mobile signals for the missing plane is said to have been located in Kinangop area in Nyandarua County stretching to AAberdares forest.
The plane with registration no 5Y-CAC that belongs to Fly SAX and operated by East African Safari Air Express was heading to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi from Kitale Airstrip before it lost contact with control tower at around 5pm
The rescue mission for the eight passengers and two crew members on board resumed on Wednesday after it was called off on Tuesday.

According to National Disaster Management Unit(NDMU) Deputy Director Pius Masai the weather was a challenge to the on going search and rescue oparations. He also added that a National police chopper was up in the sky but the weather condition is a problem. Masai appealed to members of the public to volunteer information which may lead to quick rescue and recovery
