The residents of Cheptais constituency in Mount Elgon have expressed their happiness with decision of the high court to dismiss the case that was presented by the Azimio la Umaja one Kenya alliance against the presidential results. Speaking in the Mount Elgon constituency, they urged the president-elect, dr. William Ruto, to keep the promises he made to Kenyans during the campaign and ensure the stability of the country.

Speaking only a few hours after the Supreme Court dismissed the case, residents of Cheptis expressed their satisfaction with the outcome, saying that despite Dr. Ruto’s difficulties, the voice of the average citizen has been heard.

Additionally, residents of Cheptis have urged the incoming government to concentrate on agriculture rather than pursuing the new CBC education curriculum, which they claim is expensive.

The Azimio la Umoja  One Kenya Alliance supporters have also been urged to accept the outcomes and collaborate closely with the Kenya Kwanza government for the benefit of national development.
