Imani Digital Learning Centre marked a major milestone as it held its inaugural graduation ceremony, celebrating the first cohort of trainees who successfully completed their studies. The institution, founded in 2003 as a sister institution to Imani Radio And Tv MinistrieS, a fully approved TVET centre, conferred diplomas, certificates, and short-course credentials to 16 graduates in various fields, including Diploma in Journalism, Certificate in Journalism, banking and finance and specialized media-related programmes as well as computer packages.
The colourful and joy-filled event brought together parents, students, faculty, and distinguished guests who gathered to honour the achievements of the graduates and the rapid growth of the institution.
The ceremony was honoured by esteemed scholars and leaders in academia and ministry, including:
- Dr. Ptallah Butakiand Pastor Risper Butaki, the founders and directors of Imani Digital Learning Centre.
- Proff. Simon Masiga, PhD, from Makerere University, who served as the Chief Guest.
- Dr. Nicholas Chepkoiwofrom Pan African Christian University.
- DR. Kevin Kanisio Osundwa, African Region Director Of The Institute of Commercial Management. ICM
- Madam Elizabeth Ober ICM

The founders, Rev. Dr. Ptallah Butaki and Pst. Risper Butaki, expressed pride in seeing their vision come to life. They reaffirmed their commitment to expanding opportunities in digital learning and vocational training for youth across the region.
