Caroline Nyawira is charged with defiling the boy in Elgon View estate in Eldoret. The alternative charge against Nyawira was touching the boy’s private areas.

After looking into the allegations and questioning the youngster, an Eldoret Grade One student attending a private school, police from the Langas Police Station detained the suspect. Prosecutors claimed that the girl lured the kid with chocolates before defiling him. The defendant begged the court to grant her a personal bond and claimed that she had been set up.

“I am only a meager housekeeper who is being fixed by my employer due to difficulties at work. I humbly ask that you provide me with a personal bond and release me. My parents can’t afford a big bond since they’re impoverished, she told the judge. Later the magistrate granted her release on a Sh300, 000 bond with a matching surety. November 29th is the hearing date for the case.
