REV.JULIUS SANG

KITALE, Kenya – Believers from different churches gathered for the Imani Media July Kesha, an overnight worship experience organized by Imani Radio and TV Ministries, bringing together Christians for a night of praise, worship, prayer and the ministry of God’s Word.

The Kesha was hosted by Rev. Dr. Ptallah Butaki, the Director of Imani Radio and TV Ministries, who welcomed the congregation and emphasized the importance of unity in the Body of Christ as believers seek God’s presence through worship and prayer.

The event was also broadcast live on Imani Television and Imani Radio, allowing audiences from different parts of the country and beyond to participate in the service. In addition, the Kesha was streamed live across all Imani Radio and TV social media platforms, enabling thousands of online viewers to follow the worship experience, prayer sessions and the preaching of God’s Word in real time.

The keynote message was delivered by Rev. Julius Sang of Growth Centre Church, Eldoret, who preached on the theme “Divinely Rest and Completion.” Drawing from Genesis 2:2–3, Rev. Sang taught that just as God completed His work of creation and rested on the seventh day, believers should trust God to bring every good work He has begun in their lives to completion.

He encouraged Christians to remain faithful during seasons of waiting, emphasizing that God’s timing is perfect and that true rest is found in complete dependence on Him. He further challenged the congregation to surrender every burden to Christ and to walk confidently, knowing that God is faithful to fulfil His promises.

The night was characterized by heartfelt worship, fervent intercessory prayers and moments of spiritual reflection as worshippers sought God’s guidance, healing, restoration and renewed strength.

Several church worship teams ministered during the Kesha, leading the congregation into powerful sessions of praise and worship. They included the Active Believers Mission Praise and Worship Team from Active Believers Mission Church, led by Apostle Isaiah Oyugi; the Jehovah Shammah Praise and Worship Team from Jehovah Shammah Worship Centre, Mitume, under Rev. Paul Otuoma; the AIC Chematich Choir from AIC Chematich, led by Rev. David Kuttan; and the FIC Praise and Worship Team from Faith Interdenominational Church (FIC) Kitale, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Ptallah Butaki. Their uplifting ministrations created an atmosphere of reverence and prepared the congregation to receive the Word of God.

Imani Radio and TV Ministries expressed gratitude to all the participating churches, pastors, worship teams, choir members, volunteers, media personnel, partners and members of the congregation whose dedication and support contributed to the success of the July Kesha.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to organizing interdenominational gatherings that promote worship, prayer and sound biblical teaching while strengthening fellowship among believers. Through its radio, television and digital platforms, Imani Media continues to extend the Gospel beyond the walls of the church, reaching audiences across Kenya and beyond. The July Kesha concluded with prayers and a blessing over the congregation, leaving both those in attendance and those who joined through the broadcasts spiritually refreshed, encouraged and inspired to trust God for divine rest and the completion of His purpose in their lives.
