88.8 FM KAPENGURIA/KITALE RADIO:
Imani 88.8 frequency is the first frequency to be established in May 2005 broadcasting from Kitale town with the transmission tower based in Kapenguria, West Pokot County. The region covers an area of 2495.5 square kilometers. It is an agricultural-rich cosmopolitan region. It is home to Mount Elgon National Park, Saiwa Swamp National Park and Kitale Nature Conservancy. Trans-Nzoia County has a population of 990,341 and out of these, 96.15% are Christians while Muslims represent 1.00%

The 88.8 frequency also covers the County of West Pokot with an area of approximately 9,169.4 square kilometers. Pokot people are the main inhabitants of the County and there is also a minority community of Sengwer. The West Pokot County’s economy is principally driven by agriculture and livestock rearing. The Turkwel Hydro Power Plant is situated in West Pokot. It has a population of 621241. Christians represent 91.69% and Muslims 0.4%.

The Baringo station began on 10th March 2022 and is located in Kabarnet, the largest Town in Baringo. It is an agro based area of 10,976.4 km2. Major attractions are Lake Bogoria and Kapedo springs. Started broadcasting on 16TH July, 2022. The station is located in Hola town, Tana River County.  Tana River is The County name is derived from River Tana, the longest river in Kenya. It has an area of 38,437 km2 with a Population of 315,943. It is a dry county and prone to drought. The major ethnic groups are the Somalis. The Minority group are the Pokomo and Orma who are majorly farmers cultivating along the Tana River.

IMANI TELEVISION:
Imani Television is a Christian based Television station under the larger Imani Radio and TV Ministries that aims to build viewers’ faith in Christ Jesus.  The TV station is found in Former Rift Valley province, Trans-Nzoia County, in Kitale; on Kitale- Webuye highway, opposite St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School.
