The evening began with a soft glow of anticipation as people gathered for the kesha night, themed ‘STABILITY IN UNSTABLE TIMES‘, drawing from PSALMS 46:1-11.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea…”

As families, friends, and individuals streamed into the church, the atmosphere grew with excitement. The choir and worship teams led the congregation in heartfelt songs of praise, their voices rising in unity. The message of resilience and trust in God’s unshakable presence echoed through the music, filling the room with a sense of peace.

As the preacher Dr. Nicholas Chepkoiywo took the stage, he opened with the powerful words from Psalms 46, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” He spoke about the uncertainties of life—financial struggles, health issues, and personal challenges—but emphasized that God’s stability remains constant. He urged everyone to anchor their faith in God, who provides peace in the storm. His message deeply resonated, reminding the congregation that in times of chaos, God is their stronghold, unmovable and ever-faithful.
