Pastor Risper Butaki

From Thursday 7th August afternoon to Sunday, Faith Interdenominational Church (FIC) Kitale hosted a powerful and transformative three-day women’s conference under the theme “Godly Woman: Being Light in the Darkness” inspired by Esther 4:16. This spiritually enriching event brought together women from various FIC branches including Sikhendu, Kaptama, Nzoia, and Kakamega, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity, learning, and revival. The conference aimed to empower women to take up their God-given roles as light bearers in their families, generations, communities, and churches. It kicked off on a high note with a morning devotion, setting a spiritual tone that resonated throughout the three days. Women from all walks of life gathered with eager hearts, ready to hear from God and be transformed. A lineup of dynamic and anointed speakers addressed critical issues affecting women today, each message rooted in Scripture and personal experience.

Rev. BUTAKI At The Women Conference 2025

Rev. Ptallah Butaki

Rev. Dr. Ptallah Butaki opened the sessions with a deep and insightful teaching on understanding who we are and also closed the sessions on Saturday by teachings on breaking generational curses(Deuteronomy 28 and Lamentations). He emphasized the importance of spiritual awareness and prayer in overcoming inherited patterns of bondage. His message encouraged the women to stand in the gap for their families just as Esther did for her people.

Pastor Vibian Kur shared passionately on being a godly woman. Drawing from Proverbs 31, Esther 4 and other scriptures, she highlighted the inner strength, grace, and dignity that define a woman who walks with God. Her message was both inspiring and practical, urging women to prioritize their spiritual walk and lead by example.

Madam Faith Akasa took the stage to address an often-neglected subject—mental health and wellbeing. She brought to light the challenges many women face silently and offered both biblical and psychological insights into finding healing and maintaining mental wellness(Isaiah 26:3). Her session opened up honest conversations and offered a safe space for healing.

Deacon Stephen Mule

Deacon Stephen Mulee spoke on parenting, providing a biblical perspective on raising children in godliness and in a godly way. His message resonated deeply with the mothers and guardians present, offering practical tools for nurturing faith in the next generation. (Proverbs 22:6)

Deacon John Lusaka, who shared a stirring message on “Influence of Social Media on Godly Women” (Colossians 3:17)  . He reminded the women of their divine calling to influence society through their faith, integrity, and service. His words were a call to action, encouraging every attendee to shine in whatever space God has placed them. He also taught about the influence of social media on godly women.

Each evening concluded with revival services, marked by heartfelt worship, prophetic declarations, and altar calls that drew many to rededicate their lives to Christ. These moments of spiritual renewal were deeply impactful, ushering in healing, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose. The conference culminated in a powerful Sunday service at FIC Kitale, where women from all branches participated in praise, worship, and testimonies of what God had done throughout the conference. It was a fitting conclusion and teachings from pastor Kur to a weekend of divine encounters and life-changing impartation. This women’s conference at FIC Kitale not only ignited spiritual revival but also equipped women to return to their communities as godly influencers, truly becoming the light in the darkness.
