Kylian Mbappe has revealed that his relationship with his teammate Neymar is not always that great, but they have mutual respect for one another. The two stars were involved in a penalty dispute last month that highlighted the strained relationship between the two.

Mbappe was reported to have push for Neymar exit, but the club failed to find any potential suitors for the world’s most expensive star. Mbappe has now admitted that his relationship with the Brazilian is always not great, but they try to make it work.

“It is my sixth year with Neymar. We have always had like this, based on respect, sometimes colder and sometimes warmer. I have great respect for him and his influence on the team”

The French star also addressed the clubs penalty taking duties that have been the bone of contention. PSG head coach Christophe Galtier had declared Mbappe the first choice taker, but Mbappe insists it doesn’t have to be that way.

The two forwards will be at the center of PSG quest to finally win their first Champions League title when the new season gets underway with a clash at home against Italian giants Juventus.
