Kylian Mbappe has a contract clause that could allow the forward to leave PSG earlier than expected. Mbappe stunned the world as he signed a massive €650,000 a week contract to stay at PSG at a time when it looked like he would certainly be leaving to join Real Madrid.

During announcement of the new contract, Mbappe proudly printed at back ”Mbappe 2025”

This would suggest that the French man had penned a three year deal at PSG. French outlets have reported that the three-year deal is actually a two year contract, with the option to extend by a further year.

Mbappe will have the power to trigger an extension and PSG would need his content come 2024.

Despite alleged tension with his teammate Neymar, Mbappe has made an excellent start to the league season. He has so far scored seven times in the league, and was also on target twice as PSG began their Champions League campaign with a win over serie A giants Juventus.
