Kakamega gubernatorial elections are slated on Monday, 29 August. All candidates have up to tomorrow to woo local residents to support their respective bids before the campaign’s closure.
Today ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi led an ANC party brigade in drumming up support for their gubernatorial candidate, outgoing Senator Cleophas Malala who is seeking to succeed outgoing governor Wycliffe Oparanya.

A huge crowd of local residents warmly welcomed the ANC party brigade led by Musalia Mudavadi who is one of senior principals in Kenya Kwanza Alliance led by president elect William Ruto.
Kakamega Senator- elected on a UDA party ticket Bonny Khalwale and deputy governor candidate Dr. Beatrice Inyangala among other ANC party leaders were part of the campaign caravan.
Malala is facing stiff competition from ODM party candidate Fernandes Barasa and his deputy governor candidate, outgoing Lugari legislator Ayub Savula.
