Outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta has sent an important message to all leaders who were elected in the August 9th general elections in the country where deputy president William Ruto and former Mathira member of parliament Rigathi Gachaguah were elected president and deputy president respectively in the country.

In his message, the commander in chief of the Defense forces wished all leaders elected well as he thanked Kenyans and God for the opportunity of giving him a chance to rule.

“I want to wish all who have won as they guide our country into the future. I thank you all for the opportunity to serve and may God bless this great Republic of Kenya. Asante”

This is the first time the outgoing president commented on the election process since the August 9th election. Although Uhuru Kenyatta did not congratulate his deputy, he sent a message to all leaders elected in the August 9th elections.
